Buckle Up – November is going to be Non-Stop.
October was pretty manic. We had a 3 day family trip to Disneyland Paris to celebrate a special birthday for my Mother In Law, Missy’s birthday a few days later, The Mr’s birthday a couple of days ago and I finished at the day job on Wednesday too.
Not to mention working on and delivering some crochet cushiony loveliness, working on my Etsy shop and being featured in this blog post by the fantastically helpful Etsy Ambassador Claireabellemakes…phew!
November is promising to be Non-Stop too. This week I start a new day job. I’m going to be a Teaching Assistant at a primary school. Quite a departure from my previous roles (I’ve been drawing houses for a Log House builder for the last 3 years and worked for the local council before that), so I am VERY excited about taking on a new challenge – I can’t wait!
It’s also Matey’s birthday this month and I have 3 Christmas Craft Fairs at the end of November too. I’ve not done a craft fair yet so it’ll be all new. I’m struggling a bit on the stock front because the cushions I make tend to be ‘Made to Order’ and personalised but I’m working on some non-personalised crochet too, like the Christmas Garland below and hopefully over the next few weeks I’ll be able to make plenty of goodies to sell and display.
Does anyone have any tips for a Craft Fair Newbie? I’d love some expert advice.
