Made a dress! Isn’t it cute?!
The pattern is Summer Tunic Dress by Vicki Brown and it is published in Crochet – the complete step-by-step guide by Dorling Kindersley. (I’ve included the Amazon link but am sure it is available elsewhere) I believe the pattern is also available in other Dorling Kindersley crochet publications.
I made the dress for my beautiful niece for her first birthday. The pattern was really easy to follow and worked up super quick. I made the dress over the course of 2 or 3 evenings.
I used yarn from my Deramores prize stash. I didn’t have the exact yarn and colours specified but did have some gorgeously soft Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino. It was great to work with and the finished result was just lovely – like my niece! (Look how she’s grown in a year!)
What do you think? Has anyone else worked with this pattern before? Isn’t it fab!
gorgeous! I made two of similar type pattern for my niece. I love your colour combo and the baby is beautiful!
Aw! Thanks! I thinks she’s a bit of a cutie too. LOVED making this dress. Want to make more but have no more nieces to make for 😄
That’s fab”! I have seen it in the book but my little pickle is too big now!x
It’s a lovely pattern Michelle. I’d like to make it again but have run out of little people to make one for too 😀
